My bowls journey started in 2011 playing short mat bowls and I'm now very pleased to be a part of our friendly sociable club.  I like the social aspect and enjoy our "friendly" games and Betty's Roll Ups the most, although I didn't think I was a competitive person, a little bit of me is!!

My hobbies now are researching my family history, gardening and sewing, but in the past, I was quite into line dancing and went to art classes for a while.  I do have some of my art on my wall at home and am quite proud of those.  I did also write for our village newsletter until Covid came along.  We don't have a newsletter now unfortunately.
