Fantastic First Week of Rollup’s

Thank you to everyone who came along and played in the first roll-ups of the season.  There was very good attendance, a great atmosphere, plenty of “old” faces to brighten up the afternoon and some new faces too.  Some did forget there was an earlier start time on Tuesday but we hope everyone will soon get used to that.  There were 28 people who attended on Tuesday and 5 rinks of triples on Wednesday so we are off to a very good start to the season. 

Charities of The Year 2024/25

As you are aware our club holds three charity matches each season.   In the recent past the proceeds of these matches has been donated to a charity designated by the clubs committee.  This has been Katherine House.

This year the committee would like to do something a little different and donate the money to up to three local charities nominated by you.

Therefore, if you would like to nominate a local charity to be supported by our club this year, please either email  secretary@banburycrossibc.co.uk or alternately enter your charity onto the nomination form (along with your full name) situated on the club’s notice board and post it into the blue post box next to the notice board.

Deadlines for nominations to be received is on 31st October 2024

Members Items For Sale

This page of the website is available for all of you, our members, to advertise and sell any of your used or surplus bowls items, with no cost to you. Yes you read it right, it’s a FREE service for all members!
Simply email us today, a short description of each item, along with a picture, and your name, and the price you want to sell the item(s) for.

Once we have received your email, your item we will be uploaded to the website within 24hrs of receipt. It's as simple as that!

Firstly, a big thank you to David Pridmore for his very positive feedback regarding the new improved website.  The committee have been working very hard to update the website,  trying to make it more informative and involve our members more.  We are aware that some members are not familiar with using this facility, or do not want to, but if this is the case then please let us know so that we can help you.
