Competitions

If you have not already done so, PLEASE add your name against the relevant competitions sign-up forms situated on the Club's Notice Boards adjacent to the Hub, by Saturday lunchtime.

There are insufficient names at present for the Ladies Competitions. So please sign up BY THIS SATURDAY 23rd November, or we won’t be able to run any ladies competitions due to insufficient entries.

Proposed New Lounge Area

We want to make your visit to BCIBC as pleasurable as we can. Bearing this in mind we'd like to create a cosy and comfortable seating area with two or three couches and coffee tables. Spectators can sit back, relax, enjoy a cup of tea & coffee and watch the bowls or you can chill out with your teammates after a game.

We are looking for two or three used but in good condition comfy sofas to create this area - (They must have green health and safety tags attached). So if you are thinking of replacing yours why not donate your old one to the club. Or if you are aware of anyone you know who may be replacing theirs and could donate their old one to us this would be great.

Hosting National Competitions

This Sunday 24th November, at 2pm we have the National U30 2 rink triples, National last 16 match, between Mid Gloucester and Wellingborough. The Hub will be open for refreshments, so please pop in and give both teams some encouragement or just pop in for a cuppa, either way we will be pleased to see you.
